Description
You can call me Jessica. In a nutshell, I am an architecture graduate and a self-taught baker. My food journey started in the Middle East, where as a young girl, I loved the smells of saffron, roasted tomatoes, crispy rice and freshly brewed Arabic tea. As I grew up I discovered new flavors that really blew my mind – namely fresh pesto sauce. Food developed mystical allure, and it became my dream to travel to Italy to explore the culinary world. However, growing up meant I had to put this dream on hold, I found myself moving to Australia to complete a master’s degree in architecture. After 5 years working full time, I realized that I had spent decades away from my island home. I decided to change my path. This is my story.
